Edinburgh First - the commercial arm of the University of Edinburgh reopens their KM Central property following a seven-month £2.7m refurbishment. The renovations include its 45 double en-suite rooms as well as an upgrade of its stylish breakfast room.

Located in the heart of Edinburgh’s old town, this three-star property is part of a collection of year-round hotels owned by Edinburgh First which provides easy access to Waverley Rail Station, Princes Street, The Royal Mile, and other local attractions.

KM Central’s breakfast room, Circa, offers guests the chance to enjoy a full cooked Scottish, continental or vegetarian breakfast, in the newly decorated surroundings.

Chris Barnes, assistant director, business development and occupancy at Edinburgh First said:

Edinburgh First is continuing to invest in its facilities after a £1.6m refurbishment of Masson House on the Pollock Halls estate last year.

We hope guests at KM Central will be delighted with the bright and modern décor and little touches, such as modern prints of Edinburgh on the bedroom walls, as well as the freshly-cooked and locally-sourced food available at Circa.

All in all, the hotel offers value-for-money for those who want a central, affordable base for exploring the UK’s most popular city break destination.”
