Edinburgh Voted Second Favourite UK city

Edinburgh has been named by readers of Conde Nast Traveller magazine has their second favourite city in the UK.

London took first place for the fifth year running thanks to its top bars, restaurants and hotels. But fresh from the city’s triumphant festival, Edinburgh came second. Bath, famed for its Georgian architecture, was third in the poll, voted for by readers of the Conde Nast Traveller magazine.

Edinburgh is a major tourism centre in the UK and gateway to the rest of Scotland. Around 3.5 million visitors a year inject £1.15 billion into the local economy. Scotland's Inspiring Capital has a multiple award-winning reputation as one of the most attractive destinations in the world, with an ideal mix of shopping, culture, music, heritage and leisure facilities.
