Edinburgh has won the bid to host the International Council for Commercial Arbitration (ICCA) Congress 2020.
The bid, was a collaborative approach between the Scottish Arbitration Centre, the EICC, Convention Edinburgh, Conference Partners and VisitScotland. Beating off competition from Copenhagen, Stockholm, Vienna, St Petersburg, Vancouver and Mexico City.
The ICCA Congress, is expected to attract 1,200 delegates, generating over £2m for the economy over the four-day event.

The International Council for Commercial Arbitration (ICCA) is a worldwide nongovernmental organization (NGO) devoted to promoting the use and improving the processes of arbitration, conciliation and other forms of resolving international commercial disputes.
