The Edinburgh Convention Bureau is a dynamic and successful organisation, attracting more than £73m economic benefit to the city in 2008-09 and achieving a return on public sector investment of approximately 1 : 101.

However, it is operating in an extremely competitive marketplace, with many city destinations around the world investing keenly in their conference infrastructure and marketing in order to attract the lucrative business tourism market.

The ECB seeks a suitable candidate to market and sell the services of Edinburgh Convention Bureau (ECB) and its members and enhance the profile of Edinburgh as a world leading business tourism destination.  The position will focus on the developing the association sales market and increasing the business generated from this lucrative business tourism sector
