Why bid for a conference? It takes time! The team here at the Edinburgh Convention Bureau offers you free and impartial services to relieve you of time-consuming early conference planning and costs. Our services include:

Venue Search

- we help you select the right venues and ensure they are available at the right rates

Site Inspections

- we co-ordinate your site inspection around the city, covering convention facilities, hotels and suppliers of your choice

Accommodation Booking

- we find accommodation to suit your delegates, in the right place and at the right price. Provisional allocations are held until the conference destination decision is made. A delegate booking service is available from our Conference Accommodation Booking Service on request or we hand over provisional allocations to the agent of your choice. Social Programme

- we help you create an exciting programme of social events for your delegates and accompanying persons, using the stunning venues and activities available in this city and beyond

Conference Organisation

- we’ll guide you through selecting the companies that best suit your needs: professional conference organisers, exhibition and event management suppliers, entertainers and more - find out more at Conference Organisation.

Financial Support

- we work with you to draft your conference budget, a key element in the early planning stages of any event

Convention Services - Maximise Delegate Attendance

- to help you attract delegates and make sure they gain a flavour of Edinburgh, we’ll provide you with a range of marketing and other materials including:

• visual images and information prior to the conference
• links to Edinburgh websites
• city maps & guide books on Edinburgh for your delegate packs
• information booth at conferences over 500 delegates
